Terms & Conditions

These terms cover your use of the Automates website and the free automation resources published on it. By using the site you accept them. Last updated 1 September 2026.

1. What this site is

Automates publishes a catalogue of automation workflows and information about the services we offer. Anything published here as a free resource is provided as-is, for you to read, adapt and run in your own systems.

2. Using the automations

The workflows described here are reference material, not finished products. Test anything before you rely on it. You are responsible for what you run inside your own accounts and infrastructure, for the platform accounts you connect it to, and for complying with the terms of any third-party service an automation touches — including rate limits, automation policies and content rules.

We do not guarantee that any workflow will keep working. The platforms these automations depend on change their APIs, pricing and policies without notice.

3. What you send us

When you submit an automation request or a contribution, you keep ownership of what you send. By submitting a contribution you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish it in the catalogue, adapt it for clarity, and credit you as its author.

Only submit material you have the right to share. Never include credentials, API keys, access tokens, or other people's personal information in a submission. If you do, we will delete it rather than publish it.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to disrupt or overload it, to attempt unauthorised access to it or any connected system, to upload malicious code, or to scrape the catalogue for republication elsewhere. We may withdraw access to anyone doing these things.

5. Links to other services

Catalogue entries and other pages link to third-party sites, including video hosted on YouTube. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

6. No warranty

The site and everything published on it are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Automates is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or of any workflow published on it — including lost data, lost revenue, or disruption to your own systems or platform accounts. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Paid work

These terms cover the website only. Any paid engagement — an audit, a build, or ongoing support — is governed by a separate written agreement between us. Nothing on this site is an offer to enter into one, and nothing here is legal, financial or tax advice.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and any dispute arising from them will be handled by the courts of that state.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page on this site.
