This policy explains what the Automates website collects, why we hold it, who else can see it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Last updated 1 September 2026.
This policy covers the Automates website. It does not cover any separate application we may operate, which will carry its own policy, and it does not cover the third-party sites we link to.
We only collect what you type into a form. There are four on this site. The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message. The automation request form asks for your name, email, the use case, what you want the automation to do, the systems it needs to integrate with, and your preferred platform. The contribution form asks for your name, email, the name of your automation, what it does, the platform, and an optional link. The homepage qualifier asks about your business stage, industry, biggest weekly time-sink, prior automation experience and timeline, then your name and email.
Our host also keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, as an ordinary part of serving the site.
As of the date above, this site runs no advertising trackers and no analytics. We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not use anything you submit to train AI models. We do not ask for payment details on this site, and we will never ask for a password or an API key through a form here.
To reply to you, to understand and scope what you have asked for, to build a requested automation, and to credit a contributed one. If you asked to hear from us, to send you what you asked for. That is the whole list.
Webflow hosts this site and stores form submissions on our behalf. If you complete the homepage qualifier, or tick the newsletter box on the contact form, your name and email address are also sent to Loops, which stores our mailing list and sends our emails; every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from that list. Loading a page also makes requests to Google, which serves the site's fonts, to Spline, which serves the animated graphic on the homepage, and to jsDelivr, a script host. Those services receive your IP address as an unavoidable part of serving those files. Catalogue entries link out to YouTube, and watching a video there is subject to Google's own policies.
Beyond that, we do not share what you send us with anyone, except where the law requires it.
Our host sets a small number of functional cookies needed to serve the site and to remember that a form has been submitted. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We keep form submissions while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards as a record of the work. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and ask us to stop contacting you. Send the request through the contact page and we will action it. You do not have to give a reason.
We take reasonable measures to protect what you send us, but no transmission over the internet is perfectly secure and we cannot promise otherwise. This is also why we ask you never to put credentials, API keys or access tokens into a form on this site.
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Automates operates from the United States, and information you send is processed there. If you are contacting us from elsewhere, please send it knowing that.
We will update this policy when what we do changes. The date at the top of the page tells you when it last did, and it is the honest way to judge how much to trust the rest of it.
